Jawaharlal Nehru
Jawaharlal Nehru: Enjoyed being with children.
November 14 is Children’s Day. A day not only to remember independent India’s first Prime Minister but also to act on behalf of kids not as privileged as you.
On Children’s Day, let’s think about what you can do to help other children in India.
Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of independent India. He was a well educated, cultured man, who loved his country. Nehru also loved children. He did not find them a nuisance but loved talking to them. The best of his pictures always have children in them. So after he died, it was decided to celebrate his birthday as Children’s Day. Today, we spend a whole day thinking about children in india.

ACT Scores
Some educators argue high school students are smart enough to realize the PSAE results make little difference to their education so some are not motivated to perform at their highest levels. The ACT, however, does impact their future if they plan to attend college.
"ACT scores for the Class of 2008 were similar to scores throughout the state and once released, the district anticipates improved scores for the Class of 2009," he said. "The trend for ACT scores continues to head in a positive direction and this appears to be due to motivational factors such as students desiring to do well on a college readiness exam such as the ACT coupled with the numerous interventions we provide to students.

Lee Atwater
Did any of y'all see "Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story" on "Frontline" tonight?
That was the first time I'd seen it, and you know what struck me? It was the first documentary I can remember seeing in which I personally knew practically everybody who came on the screen -- Lee Bandy, Tom Turnipseed, Tucker Eskew, on and on. Even leading characters I don't know well were people I had at least met or interviewed, such as both George Bushes.
